Dramatic CCTV footage shows the man, presumably in his late teens, who threatens the worker at a station in Torrensville, Adelaide, on Sunday at around 7 p.m.

The bandit seems to be waiting for all customers to leave the store before pointing a gun from behind the counter at the employee.

The perpetrator was handed a pack of cigarettes before leaving for Marion Road on foot.

He is described as white with a skinny build and was last seen in a gray hooded sweater and a dark-colored parker over the top.

The employee called the police, who searched for the man with the help of police dogs, but could not find him.
