Gervonta Davis wasn’t the only big winner on Saturday night, as Drake made more than $1.3 million after correctly predicting the fight’s final outcome.
Davis won by TKO in the seventh after a vicious body shot to Ryan Garcia, ending the long-awaited welterweight fight in favor of the undefeated Baltimore native.
And Drake correctly predicted that Davis would win, betting $ 1 million on this outcome.
“Tank day aka payday,” he wrote on Instagram under the picture of his pre-match bet slip.
This successful bet won Drake $1.38 million, though his winnings affected three smaller lost bets.

From there, Davis dominated most of the next five rounds before ending the bout in the seventh with a shot to Garcia’s liver.
Garcia injured his knee after the shot and failed to get up, as Davis pulled away in celebration and improved to 29-0.
