Dr. Disrespect is back on Twitch after a two-week ban

Twitch reactivated the message from Guy "Dr. Disrespect" Beahm two weeks after suspending the streamer for broadcast in a public bathroom.

Although Beahm has not been streamed since the channel was reactivated, his page shows an active chat that is ready for the expected return of the personality to the site. Beahm hasn't said much about the suspension since he was handed out 14 days ago while attending the E3 video game conference, but he enjoyed the scenario and bullied a return.

A video overview of his time on E3, posted on YouTube, contains a joke at the end about his decision to broadcast from different bathrooms at the Los Angeles Convention Center. He posted a video Twitter teases its return on June 21 and followed that with a joke about his new one streaming setup on June 24, including a poster about recording that is prohibited.

When Beahm was originally suspended, other streamers within the community assumed that he would return to a high degree of fanfare. That turned out to be true. Even without Beahm actually sitting in front of his camera and streaming, the community has started sending in donations and gift subscriptions.

"He is not even live and his chat is coming", streamer Marshall Hayden tweeted last night. "Subs, gifted subtitles. HOLY FAWK MAN !!! Fixed handshakes Champions Club!"

His suspension became an exemplary case for Twitch while the company tries to moderate the behavior of its makers and at the same time keep top personalities on the site. Although two weeks is a significant period of time for a first-time ban (the company usually spends 24 or 48 hours hanging), it is not the longest suspension period that Twitch could have used. Beahm is one of the most popular streamers from Twitch, with more than 3.2 million followers and around 20,000 paid subscribers. Keeping Beahm on the platform is an important business decision.

Beahm did not say when he will actually return for his first suspension after the suspension, but several people on Twitter suspect that it will be today. The last time Beahm returned to Twitch after a long period of time, he succeeded break the record for most simultaneous viewers at the same time and was even credited with "breaking" Twitch.
