Married At First Sight’s Duncan James was left unimpressed after he was forced to exchange an expensive gift he bought for his girlfriend Evelyn Ellis.
The reality TV star, 37, shared a video on Instagram of the moment he surprised his girlfriend with Cartier jewelry on her birthday.
But he was devastated when she opened the box and informed him that she already had the same necklace.
“Stuffing his birthday present last week,” he captioned the video.
He then shared another video of himself taking Evelyn to the luxury jewelry store to exchange their gift.
In the video, a dejected Duncan is seen waiting in a long line to enter the store while holding the unwanted gift.
After entering, Evelyn can’t wipe the smile off her face as she tries on a silver bracelet from Juste un Clou, which retails for $6,250.
Duncan is then seen paying for the item before leaving the store.

Duncan and Evelyn have gone from strength to strength since announcing they were dating in May last year.
Evelyn confirmed her relationship with fellow MAFS student Duncan, who was paired with Alyssa Barmonde on the show.
The couple, who were photographed kissing and hugging on a date night in Sydney, revealed it was “exhilarating” and “liberating” to finally go public after months of rumours.
