An Ohio man was beaten by surprised tourists at a Walt Disney World bar after he allegedly mocked a guest with Down syndrome in Florida..
Brent George, 61, started a fight between four people after allegedly taunting the disabled person while highly intoxicated, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
He was seen battered and bruised in his mugshot after being charged with four counts of assault following the January 25 incident.
According to his affidavit, after George’s shocking rant, he shoved and slapped the family, which allegedly led them to hit him with a glass cup and punch him in the head.

The bar fight took place at the resort’s Belle Vue Lounge, a bar located inside Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. According to a witness, George was ‘imitating the grunts’ that the woman with Down syndrome occasionally made.

Florida officials claimed the 61-year-old man drank three shots of bourbon and a beer at the bar before deciding to approach the group, identified in the complaint as Candace Boyette Goldberg, Wesley Goldberg, Maria Ayalde and Richard Goldberg.
“With them was an unnamed sister of Wesley and a daughter of Candace, who is disabled, has Down syndrome and is in a wheelchair,” the affidavit obtained by DailyMail.com said.
According to Wesley Goldberg’s version of events in the affidavit, George “approached their table and began mocking his disabled sister by imitating the grunts she occasionally made.”
One agent wrote that George claimed to be “having a ‘good time’ with the individuals and was then attacked by them,” but admitted that he “did not remember anything specific due to being intoxicated.”
His friend Ward Weber reportedly told police he saw George “walk up to the victim’s table because they were ‘having fun.'”
After he allegedly began making fun of the woman with Down syndrome, her mother confronted him and asked why he was making fun of her daughter.
George then allegedly shoved her twice in response, before slapping another guest at the table when she tried to intervene, deputies said.
The attack also allegedly hit him in the face with a glass cup, and George told officers he wanted to press charges but didn’t know who hit him.
The husband of the woman who was slapped was allegedly punched in the neck by George, prompting George to punch him in the head in response.
Bar patrons reportedly intervened and took George away after the melee.
According to the affidavit, Weber said his friend “was defending himself and he heard someone say they wanted to kill him.”
However, the document adds that he “did not observe what led up to the confrontation and did not hear anything said between Brent and the other party.”
In the midst of the drunken brawl, another bystander grabbed George and forcibly removed him from the bar, according to the affidavit.
George was treated by medical personnel for his injuries, but was acquitted and transported to the Orange County Jail.
He was charged with four counts of first-degree assault and pleaded not guilty. His case file does not appear to show that he has any upcoming hearings, and the status of the case is unclear as his arraignment that was scheduled for March 13 was canceled.
