The moment a now-former DoorDash employee used the N-word while delivering an order to a Black woman’s porch was captured on video.
The video, which was uploaded late last week by TikTok user Christina Derrica, has been viewed more than 3.2 million times.
An unidentified man approaches the door of a house in Nashville and says so loudly that the audio was clearly captured by the Ring camera: ‘Here’s your food, black.’
The delivery driver appears to look inside the bag before stepping back and taking a photo of the delivery to confirm it had been deposited.
The man, again, blatantly drops the racial slur and says, ‘Eat blacks’ as he walks away.

The shocking video, which was uploaded late last week by TikTok user Christina Derrica (pictured), has been viewed more than 3.2 million times.
‘Didn’t you see my Ring camera?’ Derrica wrote in the caption of the video she shared.
He also criticized the company in his post, adding, “Fire him IMMEDIATELY HELLO @DoorDash.”
In a subsequent letter that the company Derrica also posted on its TikTok, DoorDash confirmed that the driver had been fired and apologized for the incident.
‘Please note that the type of behavior you described has no place on the DoorDash platform or anywhere else, and is a violation of our security policies.
“I want to assure you that we have investigated this incident and taken appropriate action by removing this Dasher from the platform.”
The driver has not been identified or located. It is unclear what triggered his reaction or whether he was simply expressing the racist feelings he harbors.
In response to a query from Atlanta Black Starwhich reported the incident, the company confirmed that the employee had been fired and added: “There is no place for hate on the platform.”
“We are horrified and appalled by this incident,” a spokesperson said by email. ‘Make no mistake: we have zero tolerance for racism. This incident violates both our policies and what we believe.
“We have deactivated this Dasher account and are contacting the customer.”
Viewers on social media were shocked and disheartened by the content of the video.
‘I did not expect that. “The gasp that just came out of me,” wrote one TikTok viewer.
‘And that’s why I’ll never have a door board. I’m sorry, but I don’t trust random people bringing me food in their car. No,” wrote another.
Some said they hoped the customer had thrown away the entire order because “he seems like the type to spit in someone’s food.”
Others said they would have tried to confront the man to see if he had the audacity to use the insult during a face-to-face interaction.
