Don’t fuck with bulls***: How Biden fumes staff with expletive-fueled rants at the White House

Date:

President Joe Biden, behind closed doors, has a temper that sees him yelling at staff and yelling obscenities, a new report revealed Monday.

In fact, his temper is so bad that some staff members try to avoid meeting him alone or bring in a colleague to help defuse the situation. Axios informed.

Beneath his public persona of Joe from Scranton, who likes ice cream and uses folksy language, is a president with a dirty mouth and a short fuse.

Biden will throw four-letter words during his tantrums, including: ‘Damn, how the hell don’t you know this!’, ‘Fuck me!’ and ‘Get out of here!’

He has shown flashes of his temper in public before, including his visit to Saudi Arabia in July 2022, where he yelled at a DailyMail.com reporter for asking him about his fist bump with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman outside the royal palace. in Jeddah.

President Joe Biden, behind closed doors, has a short temper, a new report revealed Monday

It’s a “silly question,” the president said, adding his signature phrase “God loves you.”

The president also responded to reporters who asked him about his son Hunter’s business dealings in Ukraine and China and whether he had any role in them.

‘No’, he has shouted in response to such questions.

Even fellow leaders are not safe from Biden’s bite.

The president lost his temper with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a June 2022 phone call. nbc news informed.

Biden had relayed to Zelensky the latest round of aid the United States was sending when the Ukrainian president began listing more items he needed.

Biden snapped, telling Zelensky that the American people were being generous, that his administration was working hard to help, and suggested that Zelensky could show a little more gratitude.

Biden’s short temper does not bother his entire staff, some of whom think he should display it more in public to counter perceptions that, at 80, he is too old and uncommitted to be president.

And staff at all levels may be subject to Biden’s wrath.

“No one is safe,” an administration official told Axios.

However, some aides argue that it is a sign that Biden respects and is comfortable enough with his staff to yell at them.

Aides told the news outlet that if the president doesn’t yell at you, it could be a sign that he doesn’t respect you.

Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki was quoted as saying: “I told [Biden] several times, “I’ll know we have a really good and trusting relationship when you yell at me the first time.”

His thoughts on the president’s temper were revealed in author Chris Whipple’s book: ‘The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden’s White House.’

“There is no question that Biden’s temper is real. He may not be as volcanic as Bill Clinton’s, but he’s definitely there,” Whipple said of Biden.

And Biden’s temperament is also said to be kinder than that of his predecessor, Donald Trump.

Former Trump adviser Cassidy Hutchinson told the committee on January 6 of last year that the former president would get so angry he would throw his lunch at the wall.

She described Trump’s reaction when then-Attorney General Bill Barr said there was no evidence of voter fraud in the 202 election: “The valet was in the dining room changing the tablecloth on the dining room table.” He waved me in, then pointed to the front of the room near the mantelpiece and the television.

“Where I first noticed ketchup dripping down the wall,” he continued. And there’s a smashed china plate on the floor.

Biden’s fury is said to be softer.

One area where he demonstrates this is in staff briefings, where the president is famous for grilling attendees to the nitty-gritty, asking question after question on a topic both to get all the details and to test knowledge of attendees on the subject.

“He has a kind of mantra: ‘You can never give me too much detail,’ said national security adviser Jake Sullivan. The New York Times in an article about the president’s work habits.

Biden gets frustrated, and shows it, when aides offer vague talking points or mix up their responses with too much. Lots of political minutiae.

He’s obsessed with details, though some staffers say it’s just his way of thinking things through before making a final decision and selling it to the American people.

“If there’s something that’s not in the report, he’ll find it,” said Ted Kaufman, a longtime Biden aide who served in his Senate seat. Axios. ‘It’s not to embarrass people, it’s because he wants to make the right decision. Most of the people who have worked for him like the fact that he challenges them and helps them make a better decision.’

And, despite reports of short tempers, the aides remain loyal to the commander-in-chief.

Joe and Jill Biden describe several Biden aides as family members. The president is also famous for his compassion: he calls aides when they’re having a hard time and tells staff to put family events before work.

Those qualities have kept staff working for him for years.
