Singer Donny, 65, rose to fame as a child star with his family band The Osmonds before releasing his first solo track at age 14.
Justin, 29, was signed to a record label at the same age after uploading videos and being discovered on YouTube.
Donnie said Mirror: “I would love to do something with Justin because of the similarities between our professions.
“But it all depends on whether the planets align or not.”

Donny was just six when he began performing with four of his brothers in The Osmonds, as the band burst onto the UK music scene eight years after its formation, resulting in the hit Osmondmania.
Their fans were so excited that they were banned from traveling to London Heathrow and London Gatwick.
It comes after Justin sold his entire music catalog for over £162m.
The Never Say Never hitmaker has finalized a deal with Hipgnosis Songs Capital which includes all of his copyright, plus artist rights from his master recordings and related rights.
The deal is the largest rights sale of any artist of the singer’s generation and is also the largest acquisition by Hipgnosis – who paid £81m for some of the rights to Justin Timberlake’s catalog – to date, covering 290 titles in Justin’s recording career, including the most recent His album, Justice 2021.
Universal Music Group will continue to own the copyright to the recorded music of Justin’s work in perpetuity.
Justin’s manager, Scooter Braun, said in a statement: “I would like to thank Merck, the entire Hipgnosis team and all of our partners involved for working so hard to achieve this historic deal.
When Justin made the decision to strike a catalog deal, we quickly found that the best partner to preserve and grow this amazing legacy was Merck and Hipgnosis.

For over a decade now, Justin Bieber has entertained us and complimented us on some of the biggest hits in the world. I am very proud of him and everyone involved over the years in helping put together this amazing work.
“Justin is truly a once-in-a-generation artist and that reflects and acknowledges how big of a deal this is.
For 15 years I was grateful to witness this journey and today I am so happy for everyone involved. Justin’s greatness is just beginning.
Hipgnosis founder and CEO Merck Mercuriadis hailed Justin as one of “a handful of defining artists of the streaming era.”

“Justin Bieber’s influence on global culture over the past 14 years has been truly remarkable,” he said in a statement.
He is one of a handful of defining artists of the streaming era who have reinvigorated the entire music industry, taking with him a loyal and global audience on a journey from teen phenomenon to culturally significant artist.
This acquisition is among the largest deals ever made for an artist under the age of 70, and such is the strength of this incredible catalog of nearly 82 million monthly listeners and over 30 billion streams on Spotify alone.
“Scooter Braun has helped him build an impressive catalog, and I’m thrilled to welcome Justin and his amazing songs and recordings to the Hipgnosis family.”
