The businesswoman also posed with Anna Wintour, who the work is believed to be about, and actress Vanessa Williams.
The Italian fashion designer surprised on the red carpet with a transparent and highly decorated bronze minidress with a black bodysuit with a heart-shaped neckline underneath.
Donatella paired her sheer dress with knee-high brown leather platform boots.
She also wore a red AIDS awareness ribbon to pay tribute to the Elton Johns AIDS Foundation, which the gala benefited.
