In a social media frenzy, the internet exploded with a wave of creative memes and humorous posts after former President Donald Trump’s official photo was released.
The image, which quickly went viral, drew a flurry of reactions from users on various platforms.
The image shows a stern-faced Trump in what appears to be a standard booking photo. The former president is pictured wearing a blue suit and red tie.
Moments after the image hit the internet, hashtags such as #TrumpMugshot and #OrangeIsTheNewOrange started trending on X.
Others defended Trump with the hashtag #MyPresident.
Trump himself posted the photo to his X account with the caption DONALDJTRUMP.COM, his first tweet since January 8, 2021.
Here are some of the funniest and wackiest memes and articles about the now infamous snap:

Users from all political persuasions gave their thoughts on the photo after eagerly awaiting its release.
Some X users poked fun at Trump’s signature hairdo, while others playfully speculated about his potential “prison wardrobe.”
Some joked that the former president’s weight was 215 pounds.
Instagram and TikTok weren’t far behind either, as users flooded those platforms with short videos and image-based memes.
In a widely shared meme, Trump’s face was superimposed over various scenes from famous movies where characters end up behind bars, leaving audiences spellbound.
Memes ranged from light humor to political satire.

“Trump is mean attacking the camera, it’s so funny,” wrote one user on X.
Others defended the former president and said the photo would be used as a rallying cry.
“I stand with President Trump against Communist DA Fani Willis who is nothing more than a political hitman tasked with eliminating Biden’s main political opponent.” “Persecution, not prosecution,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene tweeted with the hashtag #MAGAMugshot.
Trump made history by becoming the first former president to pose for a photo after his arrest for trying to overturn Georgia’s 2020 election results.
The 77-year-old was arrested for the fourth time this year and his fingerprints were taken by authorities at Fulton County Jail. Unlike his three previous arrests, his reservation photo was taken on Thursday.
He stared at the camera for the historic image, with a scowl on his face.
Trump’s height and weight were recorded and, as part of the booking process, he was given a prisoner identification number: P01135809.

He was later released on payment of 10 percent of his $200,000 bond, after spending less than 20 minutes inside the infamous facility.
The former president traveled to Georgia on Thursday afternoon from his home in Bedminster, New Jersey.
Prior to his surrender, Trump called Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis a “radical left-wing, lowlife district attorney.” His surrender came hours after Willis called for Trump to stand trial in Georgia on Oct. 23 and his former chief of staff, Mark Meadows, surrendered to cops.
A handful of other Trump allies and “co-conspirators” who visited the Georgia jail this week also had their photos released by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office. They are accused of participating in a “conspiracy” led by Trump to illegally alter the election results.
“American Mayor” Rudy Giuliani was humiliated to have his photo taken after being jailed in Atlanta jail on Wednesday.
In the image, Giuliani can be seen staring straight ahead, showing a slight frown, with industrial lighting shining on his forehead and a sheriff’s badge on the wall to his right.
