Donald Trump’s granddaughter Kai has revealed the former president’s signature trick to throw her off her game when playing golf.
Kai became a household name earlier this month when he delivered an impassioned speech at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
But before that, she had already built a budding social media presence based on her reputation as an impressive young golfer in Florida.
In March, the 17-year-old even won the women’s club championship at the Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach.
Her impressive swing, her nearly 260-year-old drive and her dedication to the sport helped her land the position of varsity captain at the Benjamin School, a prestigious $37,000-a-year high school in North Palm Beach, from which she will graduate in 2026.

Kai, who wants to be a professional golfer in the future, also frequently posts his personal training sessions and rigorous gym routines online.
On Monday, A video of her playing with YouTube personality Grant Horvat was posted – which has already had more than 200,000 views – just a week after the video of his grandfather with Bryson DeChambeau was published and revolutionized the Internet.
Kai was asked who usually wins the matches against her grandfather and she admitted that although they are usually close rivals, the former president usually comes out on top.
She said: ‘I watched half of it (DeChambeau’s video) because I was working out. It was amazing. It was crazy.
“The truth is that I always struggle. It’s quite difficult.”
“It’s never like the game is over and I’ve won on the 15th hole. He wins a lot. I have to say that. I have to get better.”
Horvat then asked Kai what her favorite golf memory of her grandfather was and she revealed a time when she managed to win despite his best efforts to dissuade her.

Kai continued: ‘I was going to say the Republican National Convention was pretty special for both of us because it was right after he got shot and I hadn’t seen him since.
“It was something very special. We both had tears in our eyes. I will never forget it.
“It was like the world had stopped. It was that kind of feeling. I was with my friends. It was nice to see him again and it was a very special moment.
“But there is a lot of it on the golf course. I play with him very often.
‘One time I wasn’t on his team and I had to make an eight-foot birdie putt to win and he was trying to get in my head, standing right on top of me, standing next to me.
“I dunked it and looked up and said this (pumping his fist) and he started smiling. That was the best moment.
“When I made that putt, even though he had lost, he was so happy, smiling and laughing. That was a very special moment too.”
