Donald Trump criticized Kamala Harris for her frantic repetition of the phrase “Thank you” before beginning her speech at the Democratic National Convention.
“Too many ‘thank yous’, said too fast, what’s wrong with you?” wrote Trump, a seasoned practitioner of big rallies after years of campaigning.
Harris said “thank you” a total of 27 times before beginning her speech. She did so while thanking the jubilant crowd for their enthusiastic welcome and appearing to be trying to politely stop the applause and cheering so she could speak.
The crowd could be heard cheering “Ka-ma-la” and “U.S.-A,” but Harris tried to stop them by saying “let’s get to the point.” She ended up saying four more “thank yous” at the beginning of her speech to her friends and family.
Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany’s sister also noticed the apparent tic, writing: “How many times did Kamala just say thank you?”
Haris had accused Trump of summoning the mob on January 6 and included a passage in his speech to say that he was found guilty of fraud and sexual abuse in court.

And conservative commentator Meme’nOnLibs joked: “Kamala spends 5 minutes saying ‘thank you’ because she has nothing else to say.”
Trump also amused his followers with another post on TruthSocial in which he said: “ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ME?” The former president was evidently listening to the speech, and his comment was likely a joke.
Trump also protested when Harris praised her running mate Tim Walz’s experience as a high school football coach.
“Walz was an assistant coach, not a COACH,” Trump said.
Trump also criticized his biography about how he served as district attorney of San Francisco before becoming attorney general of California.
“He’s talking about how great San Francisco was before he destroyed it. Probably not a good idea!” Trump wrote.
He couldn’t help but blurt out a line like “WHERE’S HUNTER?” days after the president’s son appeared on stage with President Biden during his evening address.
He took issue with her lengthy January 6 article, where she said she “intends to release the violent extremists who attacked law enforcement officers at the Capitol” on January 6.

“PEACEFULLY AND PATRIOTICLY!” Trump tweeted, using words he had used in the past against the January 6 mob.
He also said he was “found guilty of fraud by a jury of ordinary Americans” in his New York fraud trial and “separately found responsible for committing sexual abuse,” a reference to the E. Jean Carroll verdict.
“All of these lawsuits were initiated by her and Biden against their political opponent, ME!” Trump replied.

Republicans have rejected the “Coach Walz” nickname and said the former high school assistant coach does not deserve credit for turning around the football and basketball teams.
He also continued to criticize Harris on immigration, as he did on a trip to the border on Thursday.
“Chaos and calamity are allowing millions of criminals to infiltrate our country!” Trump said.
Her remarks ranged from the specific to the general, as Harris pushed forward with her “freedom” agenda and led the crowd in cheers of “We’re not going back.”
“There are no specific programmes, just words and no action. Why didn’t you do this three and a half years ago?” he asked.
One of his most extensive complaints was about abortion rights, an issue that sparked the crowd and has some Republicans worried that Trump could suffer among suburban women.

Democrats have spent days lobbying Trump over the Project 25 agenda, placing stars with huge printouts to underscore the point.
Trump said what his campaign has said for months about reports based on policies developed by the outside group, which is packed with former Trump advisers but is separate from his campaign.
‘LYING AGAIN ABOUT PROJECT 2025, WHICH SHE KNOWS, AND SO DO ALL THE DEMOCRATS, THAT I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH IT,’ he wrote.
