Donald Trump lashed out at “outsider” Tim Walz during a campaign rally in Montana on Friday night, calling his opponent’s running mate the socialist “Comrade Walz.”

Addressing a crowd of thousands at Montana State University’s Brick Breeden Fieldhouse in Bozeman, the former president denounced Kamala Harris’ running mate as an extreme progressive.

Trump criticized his initiatives as governor, ridiculing Walz’s decision to provide feminine hygiene products in school bathrooms and his handling of the George Floyd riots in Minneapolis.

“As governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz let rioters and looters burn down Minneapolis,” Trump said. “Tim Walz is a very strange man.”

“He signed a bill to give free health care to illegal immigrants, he abolished Columbus Day, he mandated that tampons be put in boys’ bathrooms… he signed a law that allows the state to kidnap children to change their gender,” she continued in a frenzy, calling it an “ultra-liberal agenda.”

“Walz said socialism is just another form of neighborliness,” Trump told the crowd. “He ordered tampons to be sold in boys’ bathrooms.”

The former president criticized Walz for having received an endorsement from self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist Senator from Vermont, Bernie Sanders, calling him a socialist.

“If Comrade Walz and Comrade Harris win this November, the people who will be cheering them on will be the pink-haired Marxists, the looters, the perverts, the flag burners, the Hamas supporters, the drug dealers, the gun confiscators, and the human traffickers,” Trump said.

“But with a Trump/Vance victory, the cheers will come from police officers, firefighters, Border Patrol agents, steelworkers, small business owners, parents and hardworking citizens of every race, religion, color and creed.”

Trump, however, didn’t just criticize Walz, he also reserved a good deal of criticism for Harris, particularly her recent media appearances, or lack thereof.

“Kamala repeats the exact same speech over and over again… every word is the same. I don’t do that, I have to give them a little variety, right?” he said to applause.

“If you can’t do a press conference, you can’t be president,” he said, attacking Harris for not taking questions from the media in weeks.

‘Kamala will be exposed during the debate… but so far she refuses to debate.’

He then attacked her for her politics.

“She wants men to play women’s sports, she wants to take away their guns,” he said to boos from the crowd.

“Four more years of crazy Kamala Harris means 50 million more illegal immigrants,” he continued. “Kamala is working full-time to erase her open borders record.”

“She has ruled the country for four years and has done a horrible job.”

Trump also praised Montana Republican Senate candidate Tim Sheehy, 37, who is currently battling incumbent Democratic Sen. Jon Tester in a tight race.

“I must really like Tim Sheehy for him to be here,” Trump joked about the mechanical problems that caused his plane, Trump Force One, to divert to Billings, Montana, instead of Bozeman hours before the rally.

“It’s a big state, it’s a beautiful state and we love it,” Trump said of his hours of travel around the area after the unplanned detour.

“What he really does is valor,” Trump said, referring to Sheehy’s combat experience amid the controversy over Walz’s “stolen valor.”

The governor, who served for decades in the National Guard, has repeatedly indicated that he served in Afghanistan over the years. However, that was not the case, instead he served in Europe in support of operations in the Middle East.

Those comments have recently sparked a firestorm of accusations of “stolen valor” against the Democrat from veterans, the military community and Republicans who say he has been dishonest about his record.

“You know the other guy talks about courage,” Trump said of Walz, saying he “has the opposite.”

Tester “is a radical left-wing lunatic like Kamala,” Trump continued.

“That’s why we need to pick Tim Sheehy,” he added.

Sheehy, who gave a speech at the rally before Trump, was seen before the event handing out, and sometimes throwing, fast food to Trump supporters waiting in line, while accompanied by his children and wife.

“I’m sick of this shit, we have to save our country,” he told the crowd as he explained the importance of his challenge against Tester.

It was the first time the former president had campaigned in the state since 2018, and attendees, many of whom waited in line for hours before entering, told DailyMail.com they were looking forward to the “historic” event.

Trump’s fiery comments came after a day filled with frustration over mechanical failures.

Earlier in the day, Trump’s plane dubbed “Trump Force One” experienced a problem that forced it to divert to Billings, Montana, about 140 miles east of Bozeman.

The unexpected detour prompted the former president to take a charter plane to the event instead of his Trump-branded Boeing 757.
