  • “If he hadn’t done anything, now we would have had the strongest frontier in history,” Trump told Newsmax in an interview.

Donald Trump has torn President Joe Biden’s record on the southern border by saying his replacement is “ destroying our country. ”

Trump defended his own performance as president, saying he left Biden a strong platform during an interview with Dick Morris Newsmax.

“If he hadn’t done anything, now we would have had the strongest frontier in history,” Trump told the right-wing cable network.

“He just didn’t have to do anything.”

Trump said his crackdown on immigration had successfully stopped the flow of illegal migrants from Central America.

“I had everything worked out with the other countries, be it Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Mexico,” Trump said.

And even Mexico, stay in Mexico. In other words, these people were supposed to stay in Mexico, and they couldn’t enter our country.

And he put an end to that. It’s just crazy what they’ve done. ‘

During the extensive interview, Trump asked whether Biden pursued policy out of incompetence or a commitment to open borders.

The number of undocumented migrants trying to cross the US southern border with Mexico has risen after Biden was elected last year.

Trump claimed that Biden’s bland approach had encouraged waves of migrants to try to cross the border.

“We had the strongest in our country’s history,” Trump said. Few people [crossing]. Drugs were a long way off. Human trafficking had almost stopped.

‘We’ve done things that were great, and look what happens now. And let me tell you: they let people out of prisons. They open their prisons. Their prisoners come in, their killers, their drug addicts and drug dealers, for that matter.

And the traffickers are coming in. They let them in. They want them in. They don’t want them in their country, so they say ‘send them to the US’.
