Former President Donald Trump has revealed that his youngest son, Barron, will attend college in upstate New York.
Trump confirmed that The New York Post that Barron’s university would be in the Empire State, but his team would announce the specific school “soon.”
“He’s in a school that’s very good,” Trump told the outlet.
The former president smiled when asked if his son would attend New York University. Barron, 18, graduated from the exclusive Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach in May.
His father has previously said that the 6-foot-5 Trump has taken an interest in politics and even gives him advice at times.
Barron, 18, graduated from the exclusive Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida, in May.
His father has previously said his 1.98-metre-tall son has taken an interest in politics and even gives him advice at times.
In an interview with Philadelphia’s Talk Radio 1210 WPHT, he said: “He’s a little tall. I assure you he’s tall, but he’s a good-looking guy.
“And he’s been a great student. And he likes politics. It’s funny, sometimes he tells me: ‘Dad, this is what you have to do.'”
In July, Trump also praised his youngest son after attending his first political rally in Florida.
Barron joined his older brother Eric and Don Jr. for a campaign event in Doral, where Trump has a gold club. The three sat together in the front row.
Trump introduced his three sons to the crowd, saying it was “the first time” Barron had joined them and giving hints about the teenager’s future.
Addressing the crowd, Trump said: “He entered all the universities he wanted and made his decision.
“And he’s a very good guy, I can tell you that. He’s a very special guy, Barron Trump. This is the first time he’s done this.”
Earlier this summer, Barron turned down Florida’s offer to be a delegate to the Republican National Convention.

A week after the state announced that the 18-year-old would represent it in Donald Trump’s nomination, Melania Trump’s office announced that Barron had “prior commitments.”
“While Barron is honored to have been selected as a delegate for the Florida Republican Party, he regrettably declines to participate due to prior commitments,” Melania Trump’s office said.
Barron attended his father’s presidential announcement in 2016 and attended the Republican National Conventions in 2016 and 2020. He was not present at his father’s 2024 announcement at Mar-a-Lago.
In Trump’s last two campaigns for the White House, Don Jr., Eric and Ivanka were heavily involved, speaking at their father’s events and campaigning for him.
Tiffany joined her siblings on the 2020 campaign trail, but Barron stayed away. He was just 10 when his father became president.
