Donald Trump revealed that his son Barron is a regular viewer of Theo Von’s podcast This Past Weekend during an interview with the host that aired last night.

“He knows you very well,” he said. “Dad, he’s big,” Trump told Von during the episode, which was filmed at the former president’s country club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
Trump spoke candidly about his family during the talk while praising Barron’s intelligence and strength.
“He plays golf, he plays football, he’s very good at football. He’s a good athlete, Barron,” she told the presenter.

Trump spoke candidly about his family during the talk while praising Barron’s intelligence and strength.
“He’s getting ready to start in the fall. It’s a good university. He’s smart, a smart guy. He’s always been a very good student, smart, he’s a smart guy,” Trump said.
And it wasn’t just Barron who praised Trump, he also spoke about the traits he most admires in his other two sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump.
“Don is a hunter, a great, great hunter and he knows all about that world and guns and all that,” Trump said.
In fact, he said Donald Trump Jr. was the first person to give him a dose of reality about his assassination attempt, emphasizing how miraculous it was that his father was still alive.
“He was the first one to say to me, ‘Dad, boy, you got lucky.’ I didn’t realize that 130 yards is very short, in that jargon. He said you got lucky. He said it’s unbelievable,” he said.
Commenting on the shooter’s capabilities, Trump said: “He was supposedly not a bad shot. He was a very disturbed guy, but he was not a bad shot.”

Regarding Eric, Trump said that “he loves business, he loves real estate and he’s also a great hunter.”
Von spoke about his struggles with addiction and explained the dangers of cocaine to a sober Trump. He admits that he used to use cocaine heavily in the past, but has since stopped using it due to its negative effects.
He describes cocaine as a powerful stimulant that can cause feelings of euphoria but also intense anxiety and paranoia.
“Cocaine will turn you into a fucking owl, man. You’ll be your own lamppost,” Von said. “It’s a horrible feeling, but you do it anyway.”
