An Apprentice contestant’s response to Donald Trump’s ultra-flattering comments about Diddy revealed another overlooked clue about the rapper’s wrongdoing.
Pop singer Aubrey O’Day, 40, appeared on The Apprentice in 2012, four years after working with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs as a member of the musical group Danity Kane.
Donald Trump recently joined the growing list of celebrities involved in the Diddy scandal after an unflattering clip from an episode of The Apprentice resurfaced.
In the video, O’Day appeared visibly uncomfortable after Trump said: “I love Diddy. You know, he’s a good friend of mine, he’s a good guy. Is he a good guy?”
“I don’t want to answer that question,” O’Day immediately responded.
Pop singer Aubrey O’Day has spoken out about her negative experiences with Diddy on several occasions since he fired her in 2008.
This was not his only comment about the disgraced musician that should have raised concern.
In 2022, O’Day joined Alex Cooper on the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast, where she revealed an explosive detail about why she parted ways with Danity Kane in 2008, just three years after the band was discovered on Diddy’s Making the Band 3.
She told Cooper: ‘I was not willing to do what was expected of me.
‘Not in terms of talent, but in other areas.’
O’Day has been outspoken about her opinions on Combs since the early days of his scandal, criticizing him for failing to apologize to ex-girlfriend Cassie Fine in his apology video for hitting her.
O’Day recently took to X to share her thoughts on Combs’ most recent arrest on September 16.

Fans of O’Day since her early days as a pop star praised her for her unwavering stance against Combs, even as many people dismissed her.

Another user wrote: “I’ve been on your side since 2006. You were right all along and we knew it. That man is a monster. I hope today brings you a sense of peace.”
O’Day was a guest on Bunnie Xo’s ‘Dumb Blonde’ podcast the same day she shared her message on X.
Bunnie XO model Alyssa Deford told O’Day of Combs: ‘He basically fired you on national television, set up this narrative that you were a certain way, that you were hard to deal with, that you were this, that and the other thing.’
O’Day told Alex Cooper on the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast in 2022 that Diddy fired her for not doing what he expected of her.

O’Day responded: “There were things that happened before the day I was fired that were not captured or recounted on camera.”
She added that no one else knew she was being fired; the turn of events surprised everyone on set.
“Nobody knew what to do, nobody was talking at that time,” he said.
Meanwhile, the resurfaced clip from The Apprentice has lumped Trump in with celebrities including Leonardo DiCaprio, Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton, who are all intertwined with the Diddy scandal.
Photos of Combs with former President Barack Obama have also caused a stir on the Internet in recent days. Trump has also been photographed with Combs on several occasions.
O’Day isn’t the only person fans speculate was hurt in some way by the rapper.
Justin Bieber fans have alleged that the lyrics of his song Lonely hint at what happened between him and Combs.
The lyrics in question are: ‘And everybody saw me sick/And it seemed like nobody cared/They criticized the things I did when I was an idiot kid.’
“What if you had it all and you felt like there was no one to call? Maybe then you would recognize me because I’ve had it all, but no one listens to me and that’s just loneliness. I’m so alone. Alone.”

Another former Danity Kane member, Dawn Richard, is suing Combs for “terrorizing and sexually abusing” her, according to the lawsuit obtained by DailyMail.com.
Combs is being held without bail at Brooklyn’s infamous Metropolitan Detention Center while he awaits trial.
His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, vows to appeal Combs’ decision to jail him.
He said: ‘Mr Combs is a fighter, he will fight to the end. He is innocent. He came to New York to prove his innocence. He is not afraid, he is not afraid of the charges.
He faces charges of sex trafficking and extortion.
