Donald Trump leaves his caddy on the back of his golf cart and hangs on for a treasured life

President Donald Trump raced the fairways of his Virginia golf course on Sunday, as his caddy seemed to be holding on for his precious life.

Despite having more than enough room for two on the golf cart, the President forced the caddy to cling to the back of the cart as he placed it over the links.

Shortly before attending the course, the President tweeted that the sport was “my exercise,” despite using an electric golf cart to travel between each shot.

NBC White House correspondent Kelly O’Donnell tweeted, “The course is the only place he can drive himself.”

He wrote the tweets early in the morning after spending about four hours on his course in Virginia on Saturday after going through a campaign collection in New Hampshire one day when he was also wearing a mask while visiting Walter Military Hospital Drove during the coronavirus pandemic.

By the time he arrived at the same location on Sunday before 10 a.m., he was greeted by a demonstrator in a grim costume holding a sign that read ‘137k’ – a reference to the rising number of U.S. coronavirus deaths.

‘I know many in business and politics who work endlessly, in some cases to a point of exhaustion. It is their greatest passion in life, but no one complains. My ‘exercise’ plays, almost never during the week, a quick round of golf, ‘Trump tweeted after 8 p.m.

Then he went after his predecessor, which he attacked earlier because he played too much golf as president.

“Obama played more and much longer … rounds, no problem. When I play, Fake News CNN and others, they park themselves wherever they can to take a picture and yell, “President Trump is playing golf.” Actually I play VERY fast, I get a lot of work done on the golf course and I also get a little bit of exercise. Not bad!’

As on previous occasions, network TV cameras were able to stake out a position to take a long-distance photo while playing his course in Virginia.

A NBC correspondent posted a network photo showing that Trump was joined on Saturday by an official White House photographer for the event.
