Donald Trump gives his teenage son Barron a very generous shout-out

‘It’s going to be cool someday’ Donald Trump gives teenage son Barron a very dignified exclamation during his post-impeachment speech – praising how ‘tall and smart’ he is

In his speech after the indictment on Tuesday, former President Donald Trump gave his teenage son Barron a very dignified shout out.

Addressing his family in the crowd at Mar-a-Lago, Trump said his children Donald Jr. Eric, Ivanka and Tiffany are doing amazing things.

He then noted that Barron “is going to be cool one day,” noting that his 17-year-old son is “tall and smart!”

The former president’s son was not in the crowd as Trump delivered his first speech after being called Tuesday morning, nor was his wife Melania, who has kept a low profile since Trump left office in 2021.

Also notably absent are his daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner, who worked with Trump in the White House but said earlier this year that they were stepping back from politics.

In his speech after the indictment on Tuesday night, Trump yelled at his children

In his speech on Tuesday night, Trump made a special point for his children: “I have a son here who has done an amazing job, and another who has done an amazing job.”

“Tiffany and Ivanka.”

He referenced his son Barron, saying he would “do a good job,” and joked, “He sure is tall.”

“They’ve been through hell,” he added.

The Trumps were accompanied by a crowd of their most ardent supporters—among them My Pillow founder Mike Lindell and conservative political activist Roger Stone.

The meeting was also attended by Carrie Lake, who in November failed to be elected governor of Arizona.

A festive atmosphere reigned in the ballroom, as Trump supporters energized through proceedings on Tuesday as he denounced the 34 criminal charges against him.

The former was formally indicted on Tuesday for allegedly falsifying business records by paying off individuals when he first ran for president in 2016.

He has pleaded not guilty to all charges, criticizing the investigation as a “witch hunt”.
