Trump called Taylor Swift

Former President Donald Trump calls Taylor Swift “unusually beautiful” and questions whether she’s “legitimately liberal” or if it’s all a sham, according to experts in the upcoming book.

The former president spoke about the megastar in an interview for ‘Apprentice Wonderland: How Donald Trump and Mark Burnett Took America Through the Looking Glass’ conducted by Variety co-editor-in-chief Ramin Setoodeh. It comes out at the end of this month.

When Setoodeh asked Trump what he thought of the ‘Shake it Off’ singer in November 2023, the former president praised the billionaire performer.

‘I think she is beautiful, very beautiful! “I find her very beautiful,” Trump told her according to an excerpt published by Variety.

Trump also said, “I hear she’s very talented” and “I think she’s very beautiful, actually, unusually beautiful.”

But the Republican presidential candidate suspects that the admiration is not mutual.

I think she is liberal. “She probably doesn’t like Trump,” she said.

Before the 2016 election, Swift remained silent about her political leanings, leading some to suspect that she was actually a secret Republican.

But during the 2018 midterm elections, Swift expressed strong support for Tennessee Democrats, including Senate candidate Phil Bredesen and House candidate Jim Cooper.

At the time, she explained it this way in an Instagram post: “In the past I have been reluctant to publicly express my political opinions, but due to various events in my life and the world over the past two years, I now feel this it’s very different.’

“I have always and will always cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights that I believe we all deserve in this country,” he added.

In 2020, the ‘Anti-Hero’ singer came out in full support of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

‘I will proudly vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in this year’s presidential election. Under his leadership, I believe America has the opportunity to begin the healing process it so desperately needs,” he said in an interview with V Magazine before the election.

He also tagged Trump in an X post criticizing him: ‘After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism for his entire presidency, he has the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts the shooting starts’??? We will expel him in November.

But Swift has not yet given her endorsement in the 2024 presidential race.

During Trump’s interview for the book, he questioned whether Swift is really a liberal despite her public endorsement in recent years.

‘She’s liberal, or is it just an act?’ -Trump asked. —Is she legitimately liberal? Isn’t it an act?

“It amazes me that a country star can be successful as a liberal,” Trump added.

But there are many prominent country stars with ties to the Democratic Party, including Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw and Willie Nelson.

In her documentary ‘Miss Americana’ that premiered in 2020, Swift addressed her decision to speak publicly about politics by further saying, “I need to be on the right side of history.”

“These are not your father’s celebrities and these are not your father’s Republicans,” Swift said.

Swift has been a close ally of the LGBTQ community. Most recently, he sharply criticized the U.S. Supreme Court after it overturned Roe v. Wade, ending the constitutional right to abortion in 2022.

The New York Times reported earlier this year that the Biden campaign is actively seeking Swift’s endorsement.
