CNN anchor Don Lemon has apologized to the network and his colleagues for his sexist comments as he returns to the screens this morning alongside his co-anchor Poppy Harlow.
Lemon, 56, has yet to comment on his behavior on screen, but he tweeted before going on air that he “appreciated the opportunity” to return to the show on Wednesday.
The star was reportedly forced into “formal training” after her comments about Republican Nikki Haley being “past her prime.”
He tweeted just before going on the air: ‘I appreciate the opportunity to be back on CNN This Morning today.
‘To my network, my colleagues and our amazing audience, I’m sorry. I’ve listened to you, I’m learning from you, and I’m committed to doing better. See you soon.’
