Donald Trump Jr. Democrats accused of coringing the coronavirus fear of hurting his father, President Trump, politically.
“For them to take a pandemic and apparently hope it comes here and kill millions of people so that they can put an end to Donald Trump’s series of winning is a new level of illness,” the young Trump said on Friday morning. Fox & Friends. ”
Trump Jr.’s comments Rep. John Garamendi, a Californian democrat, who said to MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson, “He shouldn’t be near me if he says so,” because there would be a “serious argument.”
Donald Trump Jr. said Democrats hoped the coronavirus would come to the United States and kill millions “so that they could put an end to Donald Trump’s lane to win”
Rep. John Garamendi, a Californian democrat, threatened a “serious argument” with Donald Trump Jr. upon hearing those comments
“That’s just outrageous,” Garamendi commented. “I can assure you that there is no Democrat or Republican in Congress who wants someone to get sick.”
“Don Jr. I better not get near me, “the congressman repeated. “It would not be a healthy situation.”
Donald Trump Jr. spokesperson Andy Surabian hit back and claimed that Garamendi’s remark was a threat.
“The outrageous comments from Congressman Garamendi were more than clear and should be universally condemned by both Republicans and Democrats,” said Surabian in a statement to DailyMail.com.
Surabian called it “almost as scandalous” that Jackson did not push back from MSNBC when Garamendi threatened “political violence” against “a member of the first family.”
“By Don Jr. to threaten with physical violence on national TV, Congressman Garamendi made it clear to anyone who saw that he was better suited to represent Antifa than the people of California’s 3rd congress district, “the spokesman said. “He must apologize immediately.”
The comments of Donald Trump Jr. were in the same spirit as his father’s and by acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney.
In the early hours of Friday, Trump tweeted: “The Do Nothing Democrats were wasting time on the Immigration Hoax, and everything else they could do to make the Republican Party look bad while I was busy early calling BORDER & FLIGHT closures, far ahead in our fight with Coronavirus. ”
“Dems called it VERY wrong!”
Mulvaney appeared on Friday morning at the Conservative Political Action Conference, which takes place annually just outside of Washington, D.C.
Instead of Democrats, Mulvaney turned to the media, suggesting that the press blew over the coronavirus outbreak and the subsequent stock market crashed “to take down the president.”
Mulvaney said that when the government prepared for the coronavirus that would come to the United States four or five weeks ago, this was not covered because American journalists spent their time on Trump’s charges.
“While real news was happening, the press reported on their hoax of the day,” Mulvaney said. “What I could do to calm the markets is to tell people to turn off their TV for 24 hours,” he said.
