Dominik Szoboszlai will miss Liverpool’s pre-season friendly against Greuther Furth on Monday after spraining his ankle in training.
The Hungarian is believed to have only suffered a minor injury but has been left out of Jurgen Klopp’s plans for the match, mainly as a precaution, with the Premier League season less than three weeks away.
As we share team news for Monday’s friendly, which kicks off at 1pm local time (12pm UK time), Liverpool confirmed: ‘Dominik Szoboszlai misses as a precaution after taking a small bump in training.’
Liverpool face the Bundesliga 2 side as part of their ongoing preparations for the new season, which kicks off away from Chelsea on August 13.
