Dolphins star Zach Sieler became the latest player to perform the 'Donald Trump' dance

The ‘Donald Trump’ dance continues to sweep the NFL, with Dolphins defensive tackle Zach Sieler the latest to imitate the president-elect.

In recent weeks, stars from all sports have been celebrating on the field by shuffling like Trump.

The 78-year-old popularized these measures during the recent presidential election campaign, before sealing his return to the White House.

Brock Bowers, Calvin Ridley and Nick Bosa were among the first athletes to imitate Trump, and on Sunday, Sieler joined the trend.

The defensive tackle performed the ‘Trump dance’ during Miami’s 34-15 victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday.

Sieler was soon flanked by teammates Calais Campbell and Emmanuel Ogbah, who joined the dance on the field.

The NFL recently confirmed it has “no problem” with the celebration. “It is up to the networks to cover them as they see fit,” a spokesperson said.

UFC champion Jon Jones, golfer Charley Hull and USMNT star Christian Pulisic have also performed the dance in recent weeks.

Pulisic insisted it was not a political statement, saying: “It was just for fun.” I saw a lot of people doing it and thought it was fun, so I enjoyed it. I hope some people have done it.’

That sparked a strong reaction from DailyMail.com columnist Tim Howard, who sent a message to Pulisic and other dancing actors.

‘If you’re going to make a political statement, then be bold and brazen enough to back it up. “Don’t stay silent and don’t plead innocent like Christian Pulisic,” Howard said.

‘Any show of support for Donald Trump is political… andYou can’t have it both ways. You’re on one side of this or the other. If you are bold enough to make a statement publicly, I have no problem with that. But make it yours.
