Dolph Lundgren reveals Amber Heard was ‘great’ during Aquaman 2 production
Dolph Lundgren shares his experiences filming Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom with his controversial co-star Amber Heard.
Shooting started exactly one year ago today in London, and production also took place in Hawaii and Los Angeles before wrapping up in January 2022.
Heard, 36, made headlines earlier this month when she lost her defamation lawsuit against ex-husband Johnny Depp, although Lundgren, 64, told ET that she was great to work with.

Lundgren returns as King Nereus in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, with Heard reprising her role as Mera from the 2018 film Aquaman.
Lundgren actually did double duty, filming both the Aquaman sequel and The Expendables 4 in Europe last summer.
When asked about Heard on Saturday, he admitted, “I haven’t spoken to Amber” since production closed.

“I mean, she was great during the filming,” Lundgren said, adding that the sequel is, “from what I hear, she looks great.”
Lundgren also said he was not aware of her “status” on the film, after rumors circulated that she would be removed from the film after losing her defamation lawsuit.
A spokesperson for Heard shot down the rumors in a statement to… Varietyinsisting she’s still in the movie.

Heard’s ex-husband Johnny Depp sued her for defamation over a 2018 Washington Post column she wrote in which she alleged that he physically assaulted her.
The jury ordered Heard to pay Depp $10 million in damages and $5 million in punitive damages, although the punitive damages were later reduced to $350,000.

Heard will next be seen in the thriller In the Fire alongside Eduardo Noriega, which is in post-production and has no release date.
Depp has started production on his new film Jeanne du Barry, in which he plays King Louis XV.
There have been reports that he will return to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise with a whopping $300 million deal, although the actor’s representative denied those claims.
