The super cook explained that she used a ‘no-drain method’, which involves draining the pasta before adding a cup and a half of water, a cup of milk, two tablespoons of margarine and the cheese powder, all together in a pot.

“Bring it to a boil, stirring every two minutes, then cover and simmer for eight minutes, stirring occasionally,” he continued.

“The result is some really rich and spicy macaroni and cheese.”

Then he poured the paste into a shallow container and put it in the refrigerator to cool, preferably overnight.

After this, Rebecca cut it into 12 pieces and covered each cut in breadcrumbs, before dipping them in milk, coating them again and forming them into a ball.

Then he fried them in oil until crispy and served them with ranch sauce.

For dinner, she made a casserole that included “all the best parts of Thanksgiving.”

To start, she made powdered mashed potatoes, replacing half the water with chicken broth, which was then placed in the baking dish to form the first layer.

On the second layer, he added a can of French beans that he had drained and then shredded some canned turkey to add on top, and Rebecca suggested adding the turkey broth from the can to make gravy for the next layer.

The final layer included the turkey stuffing mixture and the rehydrated dried cranberries, which he added to the stuffing.

Topped with a few pieces of chopped margarine and baked at 400F for 30 minutes.

“This casserole is the reason I think this is my best Thanksgiving dinner yet,” he said passionately.

“If you need an easy, affordable Thanksgiving dinner, this is the one to make,” Rebecca declared, handing him the plate.

“This meal alone will cost you $11.25, which is a bargain,” he said, generously adding four servings.

For dessert, Rebecca made some Caramel Apple Cookie Bars, which she says can also be made with cherry pie filling.

To start, she prepared the sugar cookie mix and baked it in a pan, according to the instructions.

Once baked, you took the pie filling (with any fruit of your choice) and let it simmer on the stove until it was thick and spreadable.

For those making the caramel apple version, Rebecca melted Werther’s Chewy Caramel candies and spread them over the cooled cookie crust before adding the pie filling.

I topped it with a little more cookie dough (suggesting purchasing two packs of mixers) and baking at 350F for 20 to 35 minutes.
