A stagehand quickly ran onto the stage and handed the singer a working microphone.
The audience applauded wildly and the show went on.
“The definition of THE SHOW MUST GO ON,” one fan wrote on The Kittens Room Instagram page.
Referring to a moment of frustration when the NAACP Image Award winner shook the microphone, another follower wrote, “I laughed my ass off when she did that, I really love her.”
