She is one of Britain’s biggest pop stars after her ‘Brat summer’ trend catapulted her into the spotlight this year.
But it’s not just Charli XCX’s music that draws attention: cosmetic surgeons have also noticed her face.
Or more specifically, how it has changed over the years.
The 32-year-old, whose real name is Charlotte Emma Aitchison, previously admitted to undergoing cosmetic “touch-ups”, including Botox.
Now, Dr Gary Linkov, a leading American plastic surgeon based in New York, estimates that Charli sterling).

Now, Dr Gary Linkov, the US’s leading plastic surgeon based in New York, estimates that Charli dollars (£15,300).
In a YouTube video that has racked up 12,000 views, Dr Linkov suggests she may have had cosmetic work including a nose job, fillers, Botox and even a lateral brow lift.

A lateral brow lift is a non-surgical procedure that involves a short incision hidden within the hair, tightening the skin above and below the eyebrows and lifting them.
Exploring her transformation over the past decade, the doctor compared a 2012 photo of Charli, aged 20, where she has “bushy eyebrows,” balanced upper and lower lips, and a nose with natural “bulboness” and roundness at the tip.
Examining images of the Boom Clap singer from 2014, when she was 22, he notes that she also has a “very youthful eye area” and a “naturally higher eyebrow position.”
But in 2018, now 26, she said she may have had tip rhinoplasty, as “the tip of her nose appears more refined” and “narrower.”
A tip rhinoplasty, commonly known as a nose job, involves an operation that is performed from inside the nostrils (a closed rhinoplasty) or by making a small cut in the nose.
By breaking and repositioning the lateral nasal bone, the surgeon can also reduce the width of the nose and achieve a narrower appearance.
“That incision, if closed properly, usually heals very well and it’s very difficult to tell if someone has had an open or closed approach,” Dr. Linkov said.
Comparing photos of her face in 2019, aged 27, also suggested the star may have used lip filler.
“There is now a better balance between Charli’s upper and lower lip,” he added.
His youthful appearance, at age 28, could also be due to anti-wrinkle injections such as Botox around the eyes and forehead, said Dr. Linkov, which relaxes facial muscles to smooth lines and wrinkles.
He added: “I think I may have started getting neurotoxin on my forehead; I’m seeing less wrinkles there and possibly on the glabella.”
This is the area between the nose and eyebrows, both areas commonly targeted by Botox.
In January 2023, Charli took to TikTok to share that she was hoping to receive a Grammy nomination and made a not-so-subtle dig at anti-wrinkle injections.
She captioned the video: “I need more Botox before I accept any awards though.”
One final change in her face was noted earlier this year, at age 32, Dr. Linkov said, speculating that she may have undergone a lateral brow lift, sometimes called a cat-eye lift. Even with a fresh face, his eyes appear to have a raised shape (right), as shown above in 2024.

Despite its popularity, surgeons have previously suggested that using filler at a young age carries multiple risks, including having skin stretched and sagging earlier than normal.
One final change in her face was noted earlier this year, at age 32, Dr. Linkov said, speculating that she may have undergone a lateral brow lift, sometimes called a cat-eye lift.
The singer has previously been photographed wearing duct tape on her face to simulate a rapt look on the red carpet.
While attending the December 2023 Fashion Awards in London, she was photographed with neon yellow tape on her temples and raising her eyebrows.
But now the lateral eyebrow “seems to be in a more raised position” permanently, Dr. Linkov noted.
‘Lifting the lateral portion of the eyebrow means that it is also possible to lift the lateral portion of the eye.
“I see a greater distance from the tail of the eyebrow to where the hairline begins, which suggests a possible temporary or lateral surgical brow lift,” he added.
‘It also seems to me that the lips are more projected and that is one of the effects that the filler has.

‘While lip filler can improve lip hydration, it also projects them forward.
‘Please note that the fill may disperse into other areas. If you’ve injected it into your lip, it can sometimes end up going over the edge.
But he added: “I think Charli’s lip filler isn’t too over the top.”
Cosmetic surgery experts have previously speculated that Charli may have also undergone a fox eye lift procedure.
Professor Ullas Raghavan, facial plastic surgeon at Pall Mall Medical, told MailOnline: “Comparing the most recent photos with the previous ones, there is a noticeable lift in the outer corners of her eyes that was not there before.
“This type of lift is often achieved through a combination of surgical techniques and cosmetic treatments, such as threads or minor incisions that pull the skin upward.”
However, she also admitted that she strategically applies her eyeliner to enhance and emphasize the lifted look, which could enhance any cosmetic treatment.
The fox eye procedure, which costs up to £700, is achieved when the eyebrows are tilted upwards.
Clinics say this non-invasive procedure can take as little as 30 minutes and has minimal downtime, with mild swelling and bruising for up to two weeks.
