The CIA is currently looking for ultra-buff people to join its ranks as an executive protective agent, but the position requires applicants to complete an annual physical fitness test that will have you sweating like never before.
The perfect candidate will go through an 18-month training program and should be able to do a minimum of 27 sit-ups and 18 push-ups in one minute or less.
You’ll also need to drag a 168-pound dummy to safety in under two minutes, run a fast mile, and be extremely proficient in at least one of the CIA’s “critical” languages.

Additional fitness requirements mean that applicants will also need to be able to run a mile and a half in 15 minutes and 20 seconds or less.
The person must also have a degree in criminal justice, criminology, sociology, emergency management, homeland security, police science, criminal justice administration or psychology and possess at least three years of criminal investigation experience focused on “complex matters.”
The successful candidate will join a team of existing officers providing 24/7 armed protection for personnel worldwide, 365 days a year.
This means you must use the weapons and equipment issued to you while on the job.
However, you should not plan to have a social life and you should say goodbye to your friends because you will have to constantly check in.
You will be required to work overtime, night shifts, weekends, holidays and always be available to travel abroad.
Anyone wishing to apply must also be over 18 years old, a U.S. citizen, and willing to move to Washington, DC.
Salary ranges from approximately $66,654 to $122,459; however, you will be paid overtime and will also receive premium pay benefits.

Other requirements include not having used illegal drugs in the past, having considerable knowledge of criminal and administrative investigation techniques, and being able to gather and analyze large amounts of data.
This successful applicant will also be able to discern key issues and draw appropriate conclusions, in addition to being fluent in a foreign language.
The CIA’s “critical” languages include Arabic, Dari, Korean, Persian, Somali, Chinese, Indonesian, Pashto, Turkish, Urdu and Kurdish.
According to the CIA website: ‘Individuals who want to learn how to become CIA agents in the agency’s clandestine services must meet the requirements for the Clandestine Service and Professional Learning Programs.
‘The Professional Learning Program (PT) (for staff operations officers and specialist skills, aimed at officers) is designed for people who hold a bachelor’s degree without significant work experience. Most of the candidates are between 21 and 25 years old.

‘The Clandestine Service Program (CST) (for senior collectors, operations officers and collections management officers) is designed for individuals with a bachelor’s degree, as well as several years of business/military experience. Most of the candidates are between 26 and 35 years old.
The ad reads: ‘As an Executive Protective Agent for the Central Intelligence Agency, you will be part of a team that provides 24/7/365 armed protection to community leaders in intelligence around the world.
‘You will serve in teams at domestic and foreign sites, communicate with foreign security officials, operate armored security vehicles, analyze threats to modify protection profiles, and use provided weapons and equipment.
