A British man has been arrested after armed police raided his home in Costa and found almost 10,000 pounds of cannabis resin in one of the biggest drug busts ever carried out in Andalusia.

Police have released little information about the three detainees, but confirmed that one is British and described him as the owner of the villa where the drugs were found.
A spokesman for the Civil Guard in the port city of Algeciras, near La LÃnea, confirmed: ‘The Civil Guard has found and dismantled a drug “daycare” in La LÃnea with more than 9,920 pounds of cannabis resin.
‘It is one of the largest drug seizures ever discovered in a “daycare center” in recent years in the Andalusia region.
‘The operation has culminated in the arrest of three people, one of them British who owns the property, and the seizure of two vehicles, including a stolen vehicle.

Drug traffickers use vessels, including high-powered speed boats, to smuggle primarily hashish into Spain from Morocco via La LÃnea.
It is a popular delivery point due to its proximity to the African continent.
