Superstar DJ Fred Again (pictured) took to social media on Thursday to share some exciting news for his New Zealand fans.

It comes after the DJ treated a few hundred fans to a surprise gig in Sydney earlier this month.

The UK-based DJ, real name Frederick John Philip Gibson, performed at Club 77 in Darlinghurst to enthusiastic music lovers in what was a secret show.

A handful of fans were selected and informed about the show via a WhatsApp message directly from the musician.

The English-born star, 30, shared a post on Instagram Stories revealing he had added two New Zealand dates to his current world tour.

‘Hi! We’re having a random party tonight and we’ve randomly selected a few numbers to send the ticket link to, so if you’re getting this message, it’s you! If you want to come !’ the message read.

Only 200 die-hard fans scored tickets to the secret concert, while several have yet to see the famous record producer live.

Fred kicked off his Australian tour in Melbourne, playing three consecutive concerts from March 4-6 at the Rod Laver Arena, before heading to a pop-up venue on the Gold Coast on March 9.

He then returned to Sydney for three shows at Qudos Bank Arena from March 12 to 14.

The hitmaker announced to his legions of fans that he will be performing next week at Auckland’s Spark Arena on March 26 and 27.
