He said: “I can’t really go into details, but last night I was attacked at a gig, in the DJ booth, by another DJ, funnily enough.”

“It turned out I was knocked out and taken to hospital and I was in A&E all night. You can obviously see the damage to my face and the swelling – it’s not good.

“I wanted to let you know that I cannot be at my concerts today because I have been advised to stay home and recover.

“I’m absolutely devastated, I’m devastated by what happened, I’m devastated that people choose violence, especially when what we do comes from a place of love.
