DJ Fat Tony showed shocking facial injuries as he revealed he had been attacked at a gig this weekend.
The music star and LGBTQ+ activist, whose real name is Tony Marnach, 57, took to Instagram on Saturday to share a video message to his fans as he canceled an upcoming concert due to his injuries.
He said: “I can’t really go into details, but last night I was attacked at a gig, in the DJ booth, by another DJ, funnily enough.”
“It turned out I was knocked out and taken to hospital and I was in A&E all night. You can obviously see the damage to my face and the swelling – it’s not good.
“I wanted to let you know that I cannot be at my concerts today because I have been advised to stay home and recover.
“I’m absolutely devastated, I’m devastated by what happened, I’m devastated that people choose violence, especially when what we do comes from a place of love.

He then wrote in the caption: “LOVE ALWAYS WINS X. I am devastated to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances I have no choice but to cancel tonight’s event at
‘I am under doctors’ orders. I need to rest and improve. I will be fine and I am recovering, but for now I need to follow the doctors advice.
‘I know some of you have had this night out on your diaries for a long time and this is last minute. I’m really sorry. I will make it up to you all in the new year. Merry Christmas everyone, take care of yourselves.
‘We will reschedule tonight’s event for January 25th. “I can’t wait to see you all there and celebrate together.”
On Sunday morning he shared an update on his injury while thanking fans for their support and telling how teammate Stavros Agapiou was taking care of him.
He said: “Thank you for the thousands of messages of love and support. I’m fine, I’m just in a lot of pain and swollen, but at home with @stavrosagapiou and the dogs being cared for, I can’t thank you enough for the great support.” , remember that you can’t suppress a good man x.’
Tony said in the clip: “Just doing a quick update on the face, as you can see the swelling is going down, I’m fine though.” I wanted to greatly thank all the messages I have received; I’m overwhelmed.
He is seen in November at a concert.

Tony and Stavros got engaged last year.
Last October, Tony shared a sweet clip on Instagram looking excited when Stavros said yes after kneeling in front of a fountain in Central Park.
He wrote: “When you find true happiness in life, never let it go. Today I can truly say that I am happier than ever.”
“I went to Central Park to this magical fountain and asked the man who has changed my life in so many ways and helped show me that I can be loved and how to love, to marry me and make me whole and he said YES, I am .so overwhelmed with joy.’
