From the style of the dress to the place of the event, imagine your wedding day is a dream that is often thought about hundreds of thousands of women around the world.
But before the ostentation and glamor of the ceremony, you have to deal with the minor issue of a proposal.
And while modern cinema can portray commitments as the highest expressions of love in incredibly glamorous places, it seems that not all suitors are willing to kneel in such a romantic way.

A disappointed Facebook user remembered a message she received in her office.
"My aunt says she will pay for [the wedding] If you want to get married this week, you called me at work, "he said.
An even more upset woman said her boyfriend sent her a text message during her shift, to which she replied "no," but admitted they are still together.
"Hoping for something better in the future," he joked.
"When I was 19 a boy brought me to a cemetery, he gave me a bouquet of roses and [had me] place one in each of the graves of your relatives, "said one.
"When we got to his father, he knelt down and asked me to marry him.
"Did I mention that this guy was not even my boyfriend?" The woman added, prompting concerned users to call the gesture "quite scary."

"My friend proposed to his four-year-old girlfriend in the living room while they were in their pajamas watching television, now they are divorced," said a cynical user.
Another dissatisfied woman revealed that her first boyfriend gave her own turn to the grandiose gesture by taking her to a departmental budget store and giving her $ 90 as a budget for her ring.
"I was 18 at the time and three months later, he cheated on me," he recalled.

But some of the stories proved to be fairy tales with happy endings.

"I was watching CDs and there was a live broadcast coming into the TV behind me.
"I see my boy prop up a small box and he gets on his knees and says: Will you marry me?" In the middle of the electronics department.
"Okay, I love the guy," he said, finishing his post with a laugh emoticon.
Another happy forever began when the future husband of a woman proposed in a nail salon.
"He was in the middle of a manicure, he came over and asked me while they were taking out the gels, and the whole room applauded me when I yelled YES!
"Our first photos as a committed couple have me with aluminum foil on their fingers," he wrote.
