Christina Milian has come to the defense of Beyoncé’s daughter, Blue Ivy, after the young star’s appearance on the red carpet at the premiere of Mufasa: The Lion King.
Milian, 43, was invited to the Wendy Williams Show on Tuesday, where she was asked what she thought about Blue Ivy’s outfit at last night’s event, after some called the 12-year-old’s dress “inappropriate.”
Blue Ivy wore a strapless gold dress with a long train for her appearance. While on the red carpet, he was joined by his superstar mother, 43, and father Jay-Z, 55, just one day after he was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in a shocking civil lawsuit.
‘First of all, she looks beautiful. “I think the fact that someone has something to say about someone else’s daughter, any minor, I think just mind your business,” the Disney star said.
‘He’s talented, he toured the world with his mother, like there’s nothing you can say. You can’t dim that shine.
Wendy later said that Blue acted “very composed” and Milian agreed. ‘Let that baby shine!’ he added.

The pop star’s eldest daughter wore a metallic Christian Siriano dress while posing with her parents on the red carpet.
The dress featured a sweetheart neckline and draped bodice. Her dark hair was styled in braids with loose curls.
For her glam look, Blue Ivy chose gold eyeshadow, pink blush, and a bright red lip.
The talented youngster will make her film debut in Mufasa: The Lion King and joined her parents and grandmother Tina Knowles to promote the film at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.

Following the appearance, several critics expressed their disapproval of Blue Ivy’s “inappropriate” outfit.

However, others disagreed and called the dress “beautiful.”

Thrilled by her daughter’s achievements, Beyoncé wrote on Instagram: ‘My beautiful girl. This is your night. You worked hard and did such a beautiful job as Kiara’s voice. Your family couldn’t be prouder. Keep shining.’
Blue Ivy provides the voice of the character Kiara in the Disney film, which hits theaters December 20.
