“I really felt like I was transported to a Pixar movie.”
That’s the impression Juliet Nuzzo, a Disney-obsessed TikToker, got when she recently visited one of Disney’s newest hotels, Pixar Place Hotel.
Located in Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, the hotel’s entire theme is based on the famous animation studio Pixar and its creations.
The content creator filmed her stay at the hotel and posted her ‘honest review’ to her TikTok account (@perfectingthemagic), where it has received more than 400,000 views and 37,000 likes.
Juliet spoke to MailOnline Travel about her impression of the hotel. Your verdict on her? She said, “This is my new happy place.”

The themed hotel is entirely based on the Pixar animation studio. Juliet said she felt “transported into a Pixar movie.”
In the clip, she reveals the colorful entrance and bright reception area, which features animation-themed art and a huge, instantly recognizable Pixar lamp sculpture taking center stage.
It then shows a real-life ‘Joe Gardener’ from Pixar’s film Soul singing and playing piano, before filming an outdoor pool area, which ‘wows’ her.
Her footage also includes a look at her Pixar-themed room and the “phenomenal” view from her window.
Juliet told MailOnline Travel: ‘You can’t walk two feet in this hotel without finding a little Pixar touch. It’s bubbly and bright everywhere you look.”
She said of her room: “I couldn’t believe how spacious it was and the Pixar theme was evident from floor to ceiling.” It didn’t hurt to have the best view of Disneyland park from my hotel I’ve ever had.”
He gave his theme park view room “high marks for comfort.”
“I loved having a little Pixar lamp on my desk and the fun mural-style headboard,” she said.
However, he added: “My only complaint is the lack of theming in the bathroom, which seemed a bit generic compared to the rest of the room.”

In the lobby, he films a real-life version of Joe from the movie Soul playing the piano and reveals the hotel’s themed artwork.

But for the Disney fan, the most exciting thing was the proximity to California Adventure Park.
She said: “If I stay at a Disneyland hotel, I will spend a significant amount of time inside the parks.” “Pixar Place offers one of the shortest walks to the park entrance, which is a big plus.”
Were there any surprises? Juliet stated that the addition of live music was the biggest “wow factor.”
She said, “Watching Soul’s “Joe” play on a grand piano in the lobby was really moving.”
Was there anything you didn’t like?
Juliet revealed that the hotel was lacking in the dining department.
He continued, “I look forward to food as part of the experience of staying in a hotel, and Pixar Place Hotel feels like it is lacking in dining options.
“I’d be tempted to stay longer if you could add a little more.”
He stated that the pool’s quick-service restaurant was closed during his stay and said he would recommend a trip to nearby Starbucks instead of the hotel’s coffee shop, ‘The Sketch Pad.’
Juliet gave her theme park view room “high marks for comfort.” She said the themed headboard and mural style were her favorite features.
Juliet said the bathroom lacked theme, saying it “felt a little generic compared to the rest of the room.”
Despite her disappointment in the dining facilities, Juliet described her meal at Great Maple American Eatery, the resort’s flagship restaurant, as “fantastic.”
She said: “I really can’t wait to go back there and eat.” The maple donuts (at breakfast) are legitimately dreamy.
While the room price is “high”, with rates starting at $440 (£354) a night, Juliet said: “I think the value is there.”
She explained: “I’ve paid over $300 (£241) per night at local Anaheim hotels that don’t have the same parks, themes and unique touches of the Pixar Place Hotel.
“The hotel is definitely an expensive investment, but the quality of the decor and rooms made me feel like I got my money’s worth.”

Despite her disappointment at the hotel’s lack of food options, Juliet described her meal at Great Maple (above) as “fantastic.”
Juliet said she would “definitely” return to the hotel and is already planning a “Pixar movie marathon night” on her next visit.
She said: ‘If it’s within your budget I would recommend a visit. The quality of the rooms is fantastic and the proximity to Disneyland Resort is excellent.’
Although he warned: “You need to love Pixar.” Otherwise, he added, “You might not appreciate Nemo lurking over your bed at night.”
