Walt Disney Co. is donating $2 million to humanitarian aid in Israel following the devastating terrorist attacks that hit the country this weekend.
The company is donating $1 million to Magen David Adom, a subsidiary of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies that provides emergency medical care and blood bank services in Israel. It is also donating $1 million to other nonprofits operating in the region, especially those focused on providing services to children.
Disney revealed that company employees have also participated in Disney’s Matching Gifts program that matches eligible employee charitable donations up to $25,000.
