Disgraced former player agent Ricky Nixon has been convicted for calling a mailman he attacked “an illegal immigrant who can’t speak English” on a podcast after being found guilty of his assault.

The court heard that the prosecution believed Nixon had “limited” prospects for rehabilitation.
“Mr. Nixon himself has publicly indicated that he does not view community service hours as a form of punishment and it is for those reasons… we say the most appropriate sentence would be a prison sentence followed by a CCO,” the prosecutor said.
