Disgraced ex-California Democrat Representative Katie Hill reveals that she is her baby son Finn. calls
Disgraced ex-California congresswoman Katie Hill has revealed she is naming her son Finn, in a photo posted to social media with her boyfriend Alex Thomas.
Hill, 34, announced last month she is pregnant and expecting a boy, posing in a bikini for Vanity Fair two years after she resigned from office under a cloud when her “throuple” with a campaigner came to light.
On Sunday Hill, which was also the subject of a nude photo leak, shared a photo of them together under a balloon arch and announced the name of their son who was due to arrive soon.
“We can’t wait to meet Finn in a few months,” she wrote on Twitter.
“Thank you so much to everyone who celebrated with us. This next chapter is going to be the best yet!’

Hill and Thomas announced they were expecting a baby boy last month, and on Sunday Hill said they plan to name him Finn.
Former Congresswoman Katie Hill revealed in October she’s pregnant, posing in a bikini for Vanity Fair two years after she quit her office under a cloud
Last month, Hill described the pregnancy as a “miracle” in her interview with the magazine.
She described her battle with endometriosis, which left her with one ovary.
The California Democrat resigned from office in 2019 while facing a home ethics investigation after a DailyMail.com article revealed her three-way relationship with her then-husband Kenneth Heslep and 22-year-old campaign worker Morgan Desjardins.
Her revenge porn lawsuit over the article, which featured censored explicit images exposing the inappropriate rendezvous, was thrown out of court by a First Amendment judge.
A judge ordered Hill to pay $105,000 in legal fees to DailyMail.com parent company Mail Media Inc, in addition to paying other journalists’ legal fees, which she says her outstanding legal fees are about $400,000.
With her savings exhausted and without a steady salary, Hill is now considering bankruptcy protection from the court payments, according to Vanity Fair.
Before falling out of favor, Hill was considered a rising star in the Democratic Party, rejecting a traditionally Republican seat in the U.S. House in the 2018 election and cultivating a close relationship with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Hill’s partner Alex Thomas, a former Playboy reporter turned novelist
Among her other struggles, Hill has faced the death of her brother, who died in January 2020 of a drug overdose.
Now, as she ponders her political future with her first baby on the way, Hill is “ready to take control of her story” according to the Vanity Fair article.
“It f***s you that everyone has seen these horrible nude photos of you,” Hill told the magazine.
‘I know that I have my own responsibility…. I never want to distance myself from that,” she said. “I also had the feeling that a fundamental injustice has happened here and that only a woman can happen.”
Hill previously interacted with Thomas in his role as a political reporter for Playboy, but had her first real interaction with him during the Congressional baseball game in June 2019, just weeks after she left her ex-husband.
She now says Thomas has been her “rock stone” for the past two years and the couple is “trauma-bound.”
Hill said she has no immediate plans to go back to the office, with her focus currently on having her baby.
“I have to find a way to move on with my life, with this baby,” she told the magazine.
Hill was once a rising star in the Democratic Party before falling out of favor when her relationship with her then-husband Kenneth Heslep and 22-year-old campaigner Morgan Desjardins was exposed (all three pictured together)
For the 2022 midterm election cycle, Hill says she plans to focus on her $2.3 million political action committee called Her Time, which aims to elect and re-election women.
“That’s what’s going to help me in the coming year. It’s not my intention to run my own campaign or do anything like that,” Hill told Vanity Fair.
“It’s just going to be, these women have to stay in office and I’m going to have a baby,” she said. ‘Then I think that next November, after the midterms, I can take stock again.’
For his part, Hill’s partner Thomas described her struggle as an epic showdown between good and evil.
“You grow up thinking that the good guys win, like in any movie you ever see, because the good guys win. Like, Rocky wins; Luke Skywalker wins,” he told Vanity Fair.
“When we’ve talked a few times after the hard times, it just is, that’s not how the world works… Things go, like, dynamically wrong; the universe frowns,’ he said.
“These fights, these long damn fights, take a long time to win,” he added.
“Every time someone tries to make society better, they lose a ton at the beginning.”
