DJ Diplo was brought to safety after a shooting during one of his sets where two people were injured during a carnival in Brazil.
Reportedly, a man and a woman were shot and killed during an attempted theft at the street party in Sao Paulo on Tuesday afternoon.
Diplo, real name Thomas Pentz, was about to introduce himself on stage, make selfies and pick up the crowd on his phone when the gunshots rang.

At the end of his Instagram post, he was able to seek cover as guards rushed into the crowd.
Witnesses on the spot claimed that chaos began when a man tried to pull a chain off the neck of a fellow partygoer.
The alleged theft victim then pulled out a gun and shot the attacker and hit him in the stomach.
According to the police, a friend of the alleged thief was caught on the crossfire and shot in the thigh.
Photographer Amauri Nehn told UOL: Everyone on top of the truck leaned over and guards went to protect Diplo.

“When everything calmed down, the guards removed him [Diplo] from the truck.
“I went to the side of the trio and saw a boy who was hit in the stomach and a girl who was hit in the leg. I didn’t hear the shots. The noise was loud and many people screamed.
“Then I took the photos of the guard protecting him.”
Producer Diplo was on a truck when the shooting took place and was brought to safety by security guards.
As a result, the rest of the producer’s set and the street party parade were canceled.
The producer, who is behind Major Lazer, had also performed last night in the Latinha Mix block in the Pinheiros district of the city.
