Didier Deschamps has allayed Manchester United’s fears over Anthony Martial’s injury while on French service.
The winger was forced out on Sunday in the 59th minute of France’s 2-0 World Cup qualifying win against Kazakhstan with a knee problem.
Martial seemed to miss his side’s qualifying game against Bosnia and Herzegovina tonight, leaving him in doubt about United’s game against Brighton.

The winger looked dubious for United after limping in France’s win against Kazakhstan
But French boss Deschamps said the injury is not serious and suggested there was a chance he could play tonight.
Anthony has a minor problem with his knee. Nothing has been decided yet [as to whether he can play against Bosnia-Herzegovina],’ he said.
A little later he no longer participates in the training. We see tomorrow (Wednesday). Anything serious has been rejected.
“We did some tests, but there is still the pain, and having traveled as long as we have, it didn’t help.”
Martial started the victory of France on Sunday and provided the assist for Ousmane Dembélé’s opening goal in the 19th minute.
He got a pass from Paul Pogba on the turn and dragged the Kazakhstan defenders out of position before conceding for Dembele.
The United forward nearly got an own goal in the 43rd minute when he tried to get to the end of a Thomas Lemar cross with a bent header, only for Serhiy Malyi to produce an incredible clearance.
Martial received treatment for a knee problem after appearing to get his studs in the turf and was replaced by Kylian Mbappé just before the hour.

The winger had only just returned from a hip injury, meaning he turned down four games for United earlier this month.
But Deschamps’ update gives the Red Devils hope that he can perform in their crucial Premier League game against Brighton on Sunday.
Martial remains an important part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s roster, despite struggling to hit the tops of his 23 best goals of his career last season. This season he has seven goals and eight assists in all competitions.
United are second in the table with eight games to play, just one point above Leicester, which is third. They will face Granada in the quarter-finals of the Europa League next week.
France tops their World Cup qualifying group with four points after their first two games, but was only able to score a 1-1 draw against Ukraine in their opening game.
