Sean 'Diddy' Combs, 54, is being held at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is ‘in danger’ inside his New York jail as fellow inmates are more than willing to attack the fallen hip-hop star, the former prison warden said.

The 54-year-old was sent to the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center on Tuesday after his request for bail was denied, and his presence is not welcome, said former MDC director Cameron Lindsay.

Lindsay said TMZ that some of the more violent inmates would even consider Combs’ murder a “badge of honor.”

Fortunately for Combs, he is being held in the jail’s Special Housing Unit while he waits for his sex trafficking case to go to trial.

But his life at the MDC will be far from comfortable.

Every aspect of her life will be monitored, Lindsay explained.

His isolation from other inmates does not mean he will receive special treatment. Like everyone else, Combs will wake up at 6 a.m. and have just one hour a day for recreational activities.

You will be allowed three showers per week with limited visits from friends and family.

Every day, Combs must clean his cell, make his bed and mop the floor. His meals will consist of a strict 1,800-calorie diet.

The food will not be particularly fresh, as it will be in a heated box for him to eat separately from his fellow prisoners.

The embarrassed rapper previously begged the judge to let him out of jail on Wednesday after his arrest on Monday.

In a half-hearted attempt to secure bail, Combs promised the judge he would have minimal female visitors at his Miami Beach home amid allegations of “freaking out.”

He also offered his and his mother’s house and a $50 million bail, but his desperate efforts were in vain.

Combs is not the first famous inmate to have been at MDC. R. Kelly, Ghislaine Maxwell and Michael Cohen are some of the notable personalities who have served time at the jail.

MDC, New York City’s only federal prison, is known for violence, harsh conditions, and drug trafficking. In 2021, the MDC facility in Manhattan closed.

It has been described as “hell on earth” and has been plagued by murders and suicides since its opening in 1994.

Combs’ attorney discussed the terrors that occur within the confines of the jail, stating that “several courts in this District have recognized that conditions at the Metropolitan Detention Center are not suitable for pretrial detention.”

They also said at least four inmates have died by suicide in the past three years.

“Earlier this summer, an inmate was murdered,” the hip-hop mogul’s defense attorneys wrote, according to the The Daily Beast.

The lawyers also alleged that inmates have found cockroaches in their food and mold in the showers.

In 2019, a fire cut off electricity and heat in some sections of the prison, forcing inmates to endure extreme conditions.

Deirdre von Dornum, who oversees the Brooklyn Federal Defender team, said inmates covered themselves “from head to toe with towels and blankets” in an attempt to stay warm.

People protested and gathered in front of the MDC as demonstrators banged on walls and turned on night lights to call for help.

A $10 million class action lawsuit stemming from this incident was settled last year, according to the law firm that represented the clients.

But conditions have not improved.

Combs was denied bail on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. He was arrested after arriving in New York City to work with prosecutors.

He denied all the accusations made against him.

His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, vows to appeal Combs’ decision to jail him.

He said: ‘Mr Combs is a fighter, he will fight to the end. He is innocent. He came to New York to prove his innocence. He is not afraid, he is not afraid of the charges.

“He was eager to clear his name and he will do that. We believe in him wholeheartedly. He did not do those things.”
