Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Misa Hylton broke her silence saying that surveillance video showing him physically assaulting Cassie Venture has “triggered her own trauma” and says, “I know exactly how he feels.”
Hylton, 51, was Diddy’s first public relationship and the couple shares son Justin Combs, 30. She also has a son and daughter with her ex-husband Jojo Brim.
Posting a picture of all of the rapper’s children, Hylton stated that Diddy “needs help” and is now praying that he “does the job and gets it.”
In her post, she wrote: “I am heartbroken that Cassie must relive the horror of her abuse, and my heart goes out to her. I know exactly how she feels, and through my empathy, it has triggered my own trauma.”
Misa appears in the photo above this month, on May 11, 2024, at the 3rd Annual Strength of a Woman Festival and Summit in New York.
‘These young people were raised by women who want the best for them: we put God and education first and have always been united in our mutual effort to support their dreams.
‘Two of the little ones don’t have their mother here and it has been our duty to support them. Your father needs help and I pray that he really does the personal work and receives it.
Over the weekend, the embattled rapper, 54, broke his silence for the first time since the disturbing video, which showed him attacking his ex-girlfriend Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura, emerged this week.
Shortly afterward, Ventura’s lawyer called her apology video “pathetic, desperate and false,” since five months earlier she had proclaimed her innocence and said she was only suing him for a “payday.”

Hylton also shared this image of Diddy’s daughters.
Looking into the camera, Diddy said, “It’s so hard to reflect on the darkest moments in your life, sometimes you have to.” He was angry.
‘I want to say I hit rock bottom, but I don’t make excuses, my behavior in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video, I am disgusted.
“I was disgusted then when I did it, and now I’m disgusted. I went and looked for professional help, I got into going to therapy, going to rehab.
‘I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. Very sorry. But I am committed to being a better man every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness, I’m very sorry.’
Sources said Diddy went to rehab after the 2016 incident and continues to seek therapy and spiritual work.
