Diddy’s long-time ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura has remained silent after he was hit with multiple shocking charges.
The 38-year-old R&B singer (stage name Cassie) was with the Bad Boy mogul, born Sean Combs, for more than a decade, from 2007 to 2018.
Diddy has now been charged with sex trafficking and racketeering, according to a federal indictment unsealed in New York on Tuesday.
Combs had been arrested Monday night in Manhattan, about six months after federal authorities conducting a sex trafficking investigation raided his homes in Los Angeles and Miami.
Douglas Wigdor, Cassie’s attorney, said in a statement Tuesday that “neither Ms. Ventura nor I have any comment.”
Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura has remained silent after he was charged with multiple shocking charges; the former couple were spotted out and about in New York in May 2015.
DailyMail.com has also reached out to Cassie’s representatives for comment and has not yet received a response.
Over the past year, Combs has been sued by people who say he subjected them to physical or sexual abuse.
Combs has denied many of those allegations and his attorney, Marc Agnifilo, said outside court that Combs would plead not guilty and would “fight like hell” to try to get his client released.
Of Combs, Agnifilo said: “He’s in good spirits and he’s confident.”
Combs, 54, was widely regarded as one of hip-hop’s most influential figures before a flurry of allegations over the past year turned him into an industry pariah.
In November, Ventura filed a lawsuit saying he had beaten and raped her for years.
She accused Combs of forcing her and others into unwanted sex in drug-fueled environments.
The lawsuit was settled within a day, but months later, CNN aired hotel security footage showing Combs punching and kicking Cassie and knocking her to the ground.
After the video aired, Combs apologized, saying, “I felt disgusted when I did it.”
However, Combs and his lawyers denied similar allegations made by others in a series of lawsuits.
