Some celebrities who risked being caught up in the allegations against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs have already reached settlements with victims in an effort to keep their names out of the spotlight, according to an attorney in the case.

Tony Buzbee said TMZ Top celebrities are fighting back amid concerns they could soon face serious allegations.

Diddy has been charged with a series of sex trafficking and extortion crimes and more than 120 victims have already come forward.

But according to Buzbee, some celebrities were able to avoid public retaliation because they came forward.

Diddy was accused of years of coercion and abuse while using blackmail and violence to control his victims.

“Everyone is focused on what other celebrities were involved, who will be named, who will be discovered. I don’t expect that to happen this week,” he said.

‘We want to make sure that if we name people other than Mr. Combs, we’ve done our homework because it’s going to create a firestorm, and we understand that.

“If you were there in the room, you participated, you saw what happened and you didn’t say anything or help cover it up, in my opinion, you have a problem.”

Buzbee promised to pursue cases against any violators “aggressively” and said the scope was broad.

“A lot of people saw this activity, a lot of people allowed it to continue, didn’t say anything, didn’t intervene… all of these individuals and entities are exposed.”

Buzbee said he has sent demand letters to other celebrities and high-profile people in an effort to give them a chance to quietly settle.

“In every case, especially cases like this… because it is in the best interest of the victim, we try to resolve these matters without filing a public lawsuit and we have already done that with a handful of people, many of whom you have already heard of before.

Buzbee previously spoke about the high volume of calls he and his team received with complaints against Diddy.

Of the 120 people he now represents, 25 say they were minors at the time they were allegedly abused.

Tony Buzbee told TMZ that top celebrities are fighting back amid concerns they could soon face serious allegations.

Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided in March 2024, months before he was finally arrested and charged.

Combs pleaded not guilty to the charges against him and was denied bail, despite his legal team’s request that he be released on $50 million and kept under electronic monitoring.

The artist is accused of using “power and prestige” to attract and intimidate women under the “pretext of a romantic relationship.”

Following his arrest, all of Diddy’s friendships with celebrities have come under scrutiny. Photographs of their infamous parties have resurfaced, with guests and witnesses speaking out about the debauchery that often took place.

Buzbee previously said people would be “surprised” by the names he heard during the course of his investigation.

“It’s already a long list, but due to the nature of this case, we’re going to make sure we’re right before we do it.”

Combs is currently being held at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center awaiting trial after two of his bail requests were denied.

Erica Wolff, an attorney representing Combs, told Page Six: ‘As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, it cannot address all of the baseless allegations in what has become a reckless media circus.

‘That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies, as false and defamatory, any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.

“He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court when lawsuits are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

Combs’ mother, Janice Smalls Combs, told DailyMail.com that she is “devastated and deeply saddened” by the allegations leveled against Diddy.

“Witnessing what appears to be a public lynching of my son before he has had the opportunity to prove his innocence is a pain too unbearable for words.”

More to come.
