Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former bodyguard has revealed that the disgraced rap mogul kept tapes of politicians taking part in his infamous “freak off” sessions and claimed his arrest is linked to an alleged corruption scandal currently engulfing New York City politics.
Gene Deal, a former insider who protected Diddy during the 1990s, said The art of dialogue that the accusation against the producer could expose high-profile officials and celebrities in the Big Apple.
“This is all bigger than Diddy,” he said, without naming who the alleged tapes belong to.
He spoke out in the days after Diddy was indicted in New York and charged with racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation for prostitution, as he now faces the prospect of decades behind bars.
Gene Deal, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ former bodyguard, has revealed that the disgraced rap mogul kept tapes of politicians taking part in his infamous ‘freak off’ sessions
Deal worked with Diddy during the 1990s and claimed to have witnessed the mogul turn into a “monster.”
The charges against Diddy came six months after his mansions in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by federal agents, where officers said they found more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant allegedly used in the “freak off” sessions.
At the “freak offs,” Diddy would drug women before forcing them to engage in marathon sexual performances with male prostitutes, prosecutors say.
There has been speculation about alleged “tapes” of these sessions, but prosecutors have not commented on them.
Asked if there were any celebrities in the alleged ‘crazy’ tapes, Deal replied: ‘(Diddy) gave parties to celebrities, so what do you think?’
Deal said that while the raids were specifically focused on Diddy’s properties, the arrests were part of something that is “bigger than Diddy.”
He noted that despite allegations of criminal wrongdoing in lawsuits, including one filed by Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, prosecutors in California have not filed charges.
Instead, the charges were filed in New York, which Deal believes is linked to a series of resignations and corruption allegations among officials in the Big Apple.
“People aren’t going to put all this together.”
Diddy was indicted last week in New York and charged with racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation for prostitution, and now faces the prospect of decades behind bars.
The bodyguard suggested that Diddy himself was victimized early in his career by other powerful figures in the music industry, and said he blames those who “trained him and taught him the music business” for Diddy’s alleged crimes.
“Puff wasn’t born a monster, he was made into a monster,” he said.
‘They turned him into a monster because of what happened to him and the things he had to do.
‘To be frank, he was doing to other people what they were doing to him… that’s learned behavior.’
He said: ‘They were very into drugs, very into beating women and doing things at a level of insanity that will make you think you can get away with the same things they did back then.’
“I’m not going to say it supposedly because I saw it with my own eyes,” he added.
Deal said Diddy’s dramatic and high-profile arrest was “karma” for “a lot of the things he did,” including an allegation that… led rapper Biggie Smalls ‘to his death’.
Diddy appears in a skit from his court appearance last week. The rapper maintains his innocence
“His karma was destined to catch up with him,” he continued.
‘So all the things that are happening now, the learned behavior that he got from these people who were not living spiritually correctly… he went and transferred it and did it to people.’
Deal concluded that Diddy’s arrest will go down in history as “one of the biggest tragedies” in hip-hop history, alongside the infamous deaths of Tupac and Biggie Smalls.
“He asked for it,” Deal said.
‘He knew he was wrong, and he knew he had learned something that wasn’t right… he knew that if something is wrong, you should seek help, and he didn’t choose any of that.’
