Diddy is selling the Los Angeles mansion that was raided by Homeland Security in an alleged sex trafficking investigation in March.

The disgraced rapper, 54, who was seen violently beating his ex Cassie in a 2016 security video released in May, is trying to sell his Holmby Hills mansion for $70 million off the market. TMZ reports – after purchasing the home for $40 million in 2014.

Sources told the publication that Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, “wants to get out of Los Angeles” and has been spending most of his time in Miami.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Diddy’s representative for comment.

Combs’ homes in Miami and Los Angeles were shockingly raided by federal agents as part of a sex trafficking investigation earlier this year. Combs is also fighting lawsuits from other accusers alleging sexual misconduct and abuse.

Combs’ sons, Justin and Christian “King” Combs, were handcuffed during the raid at their father’s Los Angeles residence.

Armed Department of Homeland Security agents raided luxury properties on the US East and West Coasts, and video footage shows helicopters hovering overhead.

Officers wearing bulletproof vests gathered in the backyard of the home near the pool. Several officers were seen carrying bags and boxes of evidence to a pickup truck with the help of police dogs.

A Homeland Security Investigations spokesperson told DailyMail.com in a statement: “Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami and our local law enforcement partners.”

‘We will provide more information as it becomes available.’

In February, a music producer filed a lawsuit alleging that Combs coerced him into soliciting prostitutes and pressured him to have sex with them.

Another of Combs’ accusers was a woman who said the rap producer raped her two decades ago when she was 17.

In May, a video surfaced showing him brutally beating his ex Cassie Ventura.

The rapper took to Instagram to apologize, saying, “I hit rock bottom, but I don’t make excuses. It’s so hard to reflect on the darkest times in your life, sometimes you just have to. I was f***ed up.”

“I want to say that I hit rock bottom, but I make no apologies, my behavior in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video, I’m disgusted.”

“I was disgusted when I did it and I am disgusted now. I sought professional help, I started going to therapy and rehabilitation,” she added.

“I had to ask God for mercy and grace. I am very sorry, but I am committed to being a better man every day. I am not asking for forgiveness, I am truly sorry.”

Sources said Diddy went to rehab after the 2016 incident and continues to seek therapy and spiritual work.

The video, Obtained by CNNshows the rapper shirtless and with a towel around his waist, chasing Cassie down the hallway of the InterContinental Hotel in Century City.

As she tried to get into an elevator, he grabbed her by the back of the neck and threw her to the floor.

He then kicked her as she lay motionless on the floor, before grabbing the two designer handbags she had tried to escape with. Diddy stood over her, kicked her again, and then dragged her back to his room by her hoodie.

Cassie claimed in a later-settled lawsuit that Diddy had paid the same hotel $50,000 for footage after the attack.

Cassie’s attorney, Meredith Firetog, said: “Combs’ most recent statement has more to do with himself than the many people he has hurt.”

‘When Cassie and many other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested his victims were after money.’

“The fact that he was only forced to ‘apologise’ once his repeated denials were proven false shows his pathetic desperation, and no one will be swayed by his hypocritical words.”

The apology comes after the Los Angeles County District Attorney said they would not be able to prosecute Diddy for the assault as the statute of limitations had passed.

The statute of limitations in California for simple assault crimes is one year, while for aggravated assault crimes it is three years. Based on the timeline, none of the charges against Diddy could be filed.
