Diddy will celebrate his 55th birthday today at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center with a low-key meal.
The rapper, who is awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges, is also scheduled to appear in federal court later Monday.
The New York Post reports that today Diddy will be given the choice between cheese pizza, salad, or pasta for lunch.
Diddy, shown in a pumpkin patch in Los Angeles in 2019, will spend his 55th birthday today at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center and appear briefly in court.
That’s what’s on the menu at the prison, where the feds seized drugs and phones last week as part of a “multi-agency” operation that they insist is not linked to their high-profile case.
Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, insists he is being wrongly accused.
He maintains that, while sordid, the parties prosecutors want to send him to were all consensual.
Dozens of women have come out to insist that was not the case.
He has also been accused by grand jury witnesses of abusing young stars, although such claims have not been substantiated.
Diddy is currently being held at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center.
Last week, witness Courtney Burgess went public with her claims that she had seen tapes of Diddy “victimizing” at least eight celebrities.
He claims the videos come from a flash drive owned by Diddy’s ex, the late Kim Porter, who obtained the footage from hidden cameras in the rapper’s home.
Burgess appeared on NewsNation’s Banfield to testify about what he had seen.
It is unclear whether the grand jury saw the footage or simply heard about it.
The rapper’s family, including his children, strongly support him.
They insist he is being attacked by biased prosecutors.
Diddy’s unraveling began when a disturbing video surfaced last year showing him punching his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in the hallway of a Los Angeles hotel.
He was seen chasing her down the hallway as she tried to escape him, kicking her and pulling her hair to prevent her from fleeing.
He apologized for the undeniable images in a video statement, but says that’s as far as his bad behavior goes.
