The 63-year-old runway veteran spoke to People Health about how she’s finally felt “comfortable” accepting herself for who she is after battling hyperthyroidism, menopause and weight gain. This caused her to withdraw from public life.

When she was 54, one of her children had a crisis that left her “bedridden.” She found out that she had perimenopause.
