Diablo 4 will not only be an action role-playing game that is just as extensive as its predecessors, it will also be based on a remarkably large open world. Accordingly, you probably already guessed that you can spend days, weeks, months or even years in this game.
In a tweet, Blizzard developer Joseph Piepiora confirmed how long it will take you to level a single character to level 100. According to this, the average person should need about 150 hours for this.

Play Diablo for days
150 hours is quite a lot. If you wanted to reach the highest level as quickly as possible and without rest or sleep, you would have to play Diablo 4 for six days at a time. In the same time you could also watch the extended version of the Lord of the Rings trilogy 13 times, fly around the world three times or boot up Anno 1800 with all DLCs once.
If you even want to raise every single class to the highest level, you’ll be busy with it for a whole 750 hours. This corresponds to a playing time of a whole month.
Of course, not everyone will need to invest that much time in Diablo 4 to get a satisfying gaming experience. If you just want to complete the campaign, you only have to invest about 35 hours in the game.
The endgame in Diablo 4 is even more complex than expected
Is this fun for so long?
Of course, it still has to be seen whether Diablo 4 can motivate for so long. Measured against the predecessors, however, it is quite possible that some fans will spend well over 750 hours in the game.
Diablo 4 is also expanded quarterly with new seasons that regularly add new content and stories. In the best case scenario, you will always get something new to do and not have to struggle with the same endgame dungeons or infernal flood events for 750 hours.
