Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams could face a hefty fine from the NFL for his celebration after a 61-yard touchdown against the Washington Commanders.
In a whirlwind first half in Detroit, Williams performed a somersault in the end zone before appearing to thrust his hips into the ground in celebration as his teammates ran toward him.
Cameras quickly cut away from Williams during the broadcast, but the two seconds that went on air were all it took to make it a talking point.
It was a crucial moment for the Lions, who lost 24-13 at the time. But as much as the fans enjoyed the celebration, they all said Williams faces a huge fine after the game ends.
“Jameson Williams won’t get a check for four years after this celebration,” said one fan.
Another wrote: ‘Jameson Williams doesn’t care about a fine from the NFL.’

“How to lose 300k in two seconds,” read another comment.
But shortly after celebrating, the 23-year-old Williams walked into the locker room frustrated.
A pass from quarterback Jared Goff aimed at Williams was intercepted in the end zone, with Williams open for a second touchdown of the game.
It was a breathtaking first half between the Lions and Commanders, with Washington taking a surprising 31-21 lead at halftime.
‘Wow! These are video games,” a surprised Tom Brady said on the Fox broadcast after Williams scored his touchdown.
